Kathryn Bigelow, director of Oscar-nominated movie The Hurt Locker, and Jason Reitman ’95 will speak at the 7th annual Harvard-Westlake Film Festival on March 19, festival co-chairs Romina D’Allesandro ’10 and Jake Gutman ’10 announced in an email to students Monday morning.
The festival will take place at the ArcLight Cinerama Dome in Hollywood on March 19, showcasing films by students in the Los Angeles area.
Tickets are free, and students can reserve them by following the instructions on the email.
The chairs are requesting that attendees bring used videos and DVDs to be donated to Kid Flicks, a charity started by sisters Marni ’09 and Berni Barta ’10.
