Nick Treuer â10 won the CIF Coastal Section title on the night of Feb. 20 in the 152 pound weight division. Treuer, who was seeded second, pinned his opponent, the first seed, in the first period of the final.
âGreat kid, great win, great for our school,â Head of Athletics Audrius Barzdukas said.
Treuer will next compete in the CIF Masters competition, and a finish in the top 9 in this event would send him to the State Championships in Bakersfield in early March.
