Los Angeles Times reporter Martha Groves spoke Jan. 7 to the sixth period Intermediate Journalism class, presenting her experiences in the world of journalism.
She described the negative effect of the recent economic downfall on the newspaper industry, as well as the effect of the technological era on journalism.
“It is a challenging, nerve-wracking, exhausting job, but it is very interesting. I could never imagine doing anything else,” Groves said.
