Model Congress is a place to discuss national affair issues. The club gives students a chance to learn more about the government and processes of Congress over Zoom. Model Congress is organized by Daniel Ju ’22 and Jason Morganbesser ’22.
“Model Congress provides an extraordinary unique look at the functions and mechanisms at play in our government, and making the most out of experiences such as making policy and giving speeches is a huge source of excitement for our members. Personally, I’m most excited for Model Congress tournaments, [which are] an excellent chance to hone and perfect a variety of practical skills,” Ju said.
The club is planning on competing in digital conferences on the topic of the USMCA, the NAFTA replacement.
