The California Coaches’ Association named varsity field hockey Head Coach Erin Creznic the Southern Section Coach of the Year for the fall athletics season.
Creznic was chosen for the award due to her accomplishments with the team this season. The coach’s team finished 16-2-2 overall and 7-1-1 in its league. The girls’ season ended on Nov. 1 with a 1-0 loss to Huntington Beach in the Sectional Championship finals.
Creznic is also up for the State Coach of the Year award which will be announced in April.
