In the first game of the season, the Wolverines’ girls’ tennis team defeated the Santa Monica Vikings 13-5.
It was Kristie Reynold’s-Gipe’s first test as the new head coach of the Wolverines. Reynold-Gipes was the NAIA’s number two doubles player in the United States when she played and was formerly the head coach of Notre Dame Academy and Crespi.
