The senior class voted to watch “Anchorman: The Legend of Ron Burgundy” for its first Senior Movie Night after school this Friday, Head Prefect Katie Lim ’13 said.
This is the first year the Prefect Council has held a Senior Movie Night, and they intend for it to encourage senior bonding earlier in the year, Lim said.
“Graduating classes would always say they made such great friends at senior retreat or grad night but at that point you’re either about to graduate or you already have,” Lim said. “By doing more senior only events, we’re just jump starting those opportunities. Senior year is supposed to be the most memorable year, the best year, but it’s also the last year. I wanted to take advantage of the remaining year to really come together as a class before we go our separate ways.”
The movie will start in the lounge at 5:45 p.m, the Prefect Council said in an email.
