Prefect Council hosted the second Coffee House of the year Monday after school in the Chalmers Lounge.

Acts included students performing songs, as well as instrumental pieces and slam poetry. Complimentary refreshments were served to all students and faculty attending.

A wide range of songs was performed; however, several students chose music in spirit of Valentine’s Day. For example, Jessica Dickman ’17 sang Queen’s “You’re My Best Friend” and Adam Yaron ’16 and Elizabeth Gaba ’17 performed Tori Kelly and Ed Sheeran’s duet, “I Was Made For Loving You.”

Prefects JP Cherry ’18 and Adam Yaron ’18 emceed the event.

“Coffeehouse is always such a cool show to see because everyone just kind comes out of nowhere and is crazy talented,” Nicole Bahar ’18 said. “It’s really incredible to see how talented and dedicated all of the students at Harvard-Westlake are.”
