In preparation for the one-to-one computer program beginning with the seventh graders next year, teachers at the Middle School are taking lessons based on “21st century skills” as a part of the “Three for All” initiative. Head of School Jon Wimbish and Foreign Language teacher Moss Pike created a system in which conferences, workshops, webinars, classes, and reading and reviewing a book count towards the three credits necessary for the program.
Faculty members get to choose the lessons they take based on their own interests and what they want to do in the classroom.
“‘Three For All’ is our way to encourage faculty to start engaging with some of the ideas and technologies that they may possibly be implementing next year,” Pike said.
