The softball team was eliminated from CIF playoffs after a 10-0 loss against Gahr today. This is after coming off of a close 7-6 win May 17 against Monclair. Gahr was third seed, and the Wolverines were 27 seed.
On May 17, Lauren Lapesarde ’17 and Kat Swander ’19 hit home runs, and Ashley Waco ’18 was injured, getting hit in the hand.
Today, the mercy rule ended the game 10-0 in the fifth inning.
This is the first time softball has made CIF playoffs since 2013.
