Students preformed in the last Coffee House of the year Thursday during eighth period for exclusively seniors and after school for all students.

Seniors participated in a senior-only Coffee House during eighth period as part of Senior Day.

“The last coffeehouse was great, the senior section especially,” Prefect and performer Adam Yaron ’16 said. “Because it was the last one of the year, a lot people came out and decided to do it. We had a lot of new faces up here.”

Matt Jung ’16 and Dharan Kumar ’16 ended the senior portion of Coffee House with a magic routine. The second portion of the event featured performances such as Gungor’s “Beautiful Things” sung by Elizabeth Gaba ’17 as well as Michael Gavin ’18 preforming a political parody of “Stacy’s Mom” by Fountains of Wayne, entitled “Chelsea’s Mom” about Hillary Clinton.  Jack Stovitz ’16 closed the show with a comedy routine.

Complimentary baked goods and coffee were offered to all who attended.

“It was very fun,” performer Ryan O’Donnell ’18 said. “I enjoyed the feeling of community at Harvard-Westlake and everyone did a very good job.”
