The boys’ soccer team defeated Alemany HS 5-0, the first league win of the season.
Charlie Mendes ’19 had his second clean sheet in a row and his fifth in the six league games.
The squad scored more goals in the game than they had combined in all the preceding league games.
The Wolverines took control from the beginning of the match, with Langston Holly ’20 scoring a goal in the 13th minute. Alex Schindler ’19 scored another two goals, putting the Wolverines up 3-0. Jake Neuman ’18 and Tim Kihiczak ’18 also scored.
This win brings the Wolverines overall record to 7-7-3, and the league record to 1-3-2.
