In its first match of the preseason, the boys’ lacrosse team emerged victorious after a commanding second half, beating Culver City 9-3 on Feb. 28.

After a tense first half the score was tied 1-1, with Zac Harleston ’17 the only Wolverine goalscorer. After a commanding third quarter, in which the team scored six unanswered goals, the Wolverines were able to secure the victory, adding two more goals in the final quarter. Harleston scored three goals, Tommy Park ’18 scored four and Paul Rodriguez ’18 scored two.
Coming off of the opening victory, the players will look to their next match at home against Peninsula on March 4, hoping to take home another win and find their stride before league play begins.
