The girls’ varsity volleyball team placed second in the Molten Classic tournament after losing the championship game to Lakewood last night.
The Wolverines won the first set 25-20 and played close second and third sets with final scores of 20-25 and 21-25 respectively. In the fourth and final set, Lakewood pulled ahead to win 9-25.
The Wolverines’ next game will be at home against rival Notre Dame on Sept. 7.
