The girls’ volleyball team lost against Marymount High School today on senior night 3-0.
Libero Josephine Amakye ’21 said that she is still trying to stay positive after this game.
“I think the game went well despite the loss and we truly fought our hardest and played our game while staying together,” Amakye said. “We definitely did well serving and being aggressive.”
Outside-hitter Ava-Marie Lange ’23 said that although the team did well, there are improvements that can be made.
“I think the overall mentality of the game stayed consistent even though we had some trouble on the other team getting runs,” Lange said. “I think our team can work on first ball side out because that was our weakest point which is something that we could easily improve upon. This was our biggest section where we lost a majority of points.”
The team will have a game on Oct. 12 against Buckley School during Homecoming.
