In its first League match of the season, the varsity girls’ tennis team handily defeated Notre Dame 17-1 Thursday.
The Wolverines improve to 4-1, after a whirlwind 2-1 week last week where they beat Beverly Hills and Brentwood but fell to Peninsula.
The team’s next game is this Monday, on its home court at Los Angeles Valley College against Los Alamitos, a team they did not play all of last year.
