The varsity girls’ tennis team beat Marlborough Thursday in its opening match with a resounding 18-0 final score.
The Wolverines dominated the non-League match, in spite of the fact that their number one and number three singles players Savannah de Montesquiou ’13 and Juliana Simon ’16 had to be subbed out after the first round due to illness and a back injury respectively.
The three doubles teams were captains Kristina Park ’13 and Samantha Maccabee ’13, Arin Schwimmer ’15 and Paige Moelis ’15, and Joelle Choi ’16 and Isabella de Montesquiou ’16.
The team’s next match is away this Monday against Beverly Hills.
