Boys’ soccer opens season with 2-1 win at home

Lucas Bongarra earned his first win as the head coach of the boys’ soccer team on Monday, Nov. 26 with the Wolverines’ victory over Bell Gardens. Bongarra, who was hired as the head coach last spring,  watched his team win its season opener 2-1 at Ted Slavin Field.

Goals from Ty Gilhuly ’13 and Patrick Angelo ’14 helped the Wolverines improve to 1-0 on the season. They continue non-league play when they visit West Ranch on Thursday, Dec. 6.
