The boys’ varsity basketball team lost in the CIF Quarterfinals to Bishop Montgomery Tuesday by a score of 78-58, eliminating the team from CIF Playoffs and bringing the Wolverines’ season to a close.
Bishop Montgomery, who are undefeated on the season and ranked 16th in the nation by MaxPreps, took the lead in the first quarter and would not let up, extending the lead to double digits in the second quarter and holding onto the lead for the rest of the game.
Chad Kanoff ’13 led the Wolverines in scoring with 19 points in his final game for the team.
The Wolverines, who were also eliminated in the CIF Quarterfinals last season, end the year with a final record of 17-11 and a league record of 6-6.
