Football suffers largest loss of 2013

Still winless in Mission League play, the Wolverine football team lost to Chaminade Friday by one of the largest deficits in school history, 73-0.

With Quarterback Marshal Cohen ’16, who suffered a torn ACL and meniscus in the team’s 23-31 loss to St. Paul on Oct. 18, out for the rest of the season, Ryan Dominick ’17 made his second career start in the game; however, the Wolverine offense was shut-out for the first time this season.

The team will enter its final game of the regular season, a Mission League matchup against Cathedral Nov. 8, with a league record of 0-4, and an overall record of 4-5. The Wolverines’ final game proves especially significant as they teeter on the edge of CIF Playoffs.
