Boys’ soccer falls short to Cathedral in first home match of season

After defeating Campbell Hall 1-0 in their first game of the season, the boys’ soccer team fell short to Cathedral High School tonight 2-1.

The squad was able to tie the match at one a piece heading into halftime, but was unable to close out the match in the second half by allowing Cathedral to score once again to take a 2-1 lead. The Wolverine goal was scored off a set piece pass from Matthew Glick ’15 to Cole Fletcher ’15 late in the first half of the game.

The team will participate in the South Holiday Tournament at Redondo Union High School next weekend, where they will matchup against Redondo High School in the first round.
