A new improv workshop starts Oct. 20. in the Drama Lab from 3:15 – 6:00 p.m. Led by Performing Arts Teacher Michele Spears, this workshop is open to everyone who is interested.

Spears said that the workshops are meant to create a space for people with any experience level or interest in improv to perform.

“Whether you want to join a performing group, or you’re just curious about the whole improv thing, these workshops are a chance to come and play, be spontaneous, let your creativity go wild, and laugh with your friends,” Spears said.

These workshops continue Nov. 10. and Nov. 17. Qualification for the performing arts group requires the attendance of two workshops followed by the placement auditions on Dec. 1.
