The varsity boys’ basketball team defeated Palos Verdes High School 76-31 at home in a non-league game Nov. 14. The team improved to an overall record of 1-0.

Guard Robert Hinton ’24 led the team in scoring with 14 points. Hinton said the team’s summer training as a club has prepared them for the high school season.

“This whole summer, we’ve been playing against the top teams in the country,” Hinton said. “We’ve been doing really well. We’ve had some huge wins in the preseason, and we’re ready for the regular season to show everyone what we’ve been working on. We’re ready to get that state championship.”

The team’s next game is against Palisades High School in the Westside Tip-Off Showcase at Westchester High School on Nov. 16.
