The boys’ lacrosse team beat Chaminade 10-7 on its Senior Day, April 29, to regain its winning form and claim the 2017 Mission League Co-Championship.
The match began slowly, with only a few goals in the first quarter. As the match opened up, the team took a slight edge and was able to stay just ahead of Chaminade. The score at halftime was 6-3 in favor of the Wolverines, and the squad was able to hold the three-goal advantage until the game ended.

The 10 goals were spread out among all the players, with no one player scoring more than two goals. Tommy Park ’18, Sultan Daniels ’19, Harrison Listen ’19 and Asher Early ’19 all scored twice, while Simon Pompan ’18 and Zac Harleston ’17 contributed one goal each.
With the victory, the Wolverines have regained their winning form after suffering the first loss of the season against Loyola on April 25. The team has also completed its season with an overall 15-1 record, and the players will await the draw to see which team they will face in the first round of playoffs.
