The girls’ varsity volleyball team defeated Flintridge Sacred Heart Academy in three sets tonight at home.
The team gained and held the lead until Flintridge gained momentum near the end of the set before they were defeated 25-18 by the Wolverines. In the second set, the Wolverines started with a six-point lead and pulled further ahead before FSHA came back from a ten-point deficit. With great team spirit and kills from Mycah Dottin ’18 and Bella Hedley ’18, the girls’ won 25-18.
Until the Wolverines began to pull away at the end of the last set, it was a close game. Flintridge held on for most of the game before they were defeated in yet another 25-18 set.
