Washington County Sheriff’s Office used technology created by Visual Labs, a company founded by CEO Alex Popof ’10, to maintain security at the Super Bowl LII on Sunday, Feb.5.
The Sheriff’s Office was able to utilize the GPS functions on the computers to track the safety of deputies working the perimeter.
The company also had private security contractors using their technology at the U.S. Bank Stadium during the game.
Visual Labs produces body-worn computers that can function as cameras to allow police officers to record their interactions with civilians in the event of an incident.
There are dozens of law enforcement agencies nationwide that have signed contracts with Visual Labs.
