The boys’ soccer team defeated St. Francis 3-1 on the road Wednesday night.
The two squads were even at the half, but St. Francis scored on a penalty kick early in the second half to take the first lead of the game.
Alex Schindler ’19 said that the only thing on the squad’s mind going into the second half was “intensity.”
With 20 minutes remaining, Alec Katz ’19 evened the score at 1-1. In the remaining time, the Wolverines were able to add two goals, taking and then solidifying their lead.
The win was the second over St. Francis this season and brought the Wolverines to a record of 7-8-2 on the season.
