Guard Kimiko Katzaroff ’21 credits the squad’s success in the championship of the Brentwood Invitational to controlling the game in the second half.
“We knew we were about to play some good competition before hand but we came in prepared,” Katzaroff said. “Although we started out slow in the first half, we realized that we needed to play our game and not let them dictate how we play, ultimately letting us step up in the second half.”
The Future
The squad will play in the Sandra Meadows Tournament in Texas from Dec. 26 to Dec. 28 and the Desert Heat Classic Jan. 2 to Jan. 4. Their first league game will be at home against Notre Dame Academy Jan. 7.
