Boys’ soccer win their second league game

The boys’ soccer team won against Alemany High School 6-2 on Jan. 10.

Midfielder Pablo Greenlee ’20 said that he had high expectations for this game, and he was ultimately able to fulfill his goal.

“Going into the game we knew that Alemany was at the bottom of the table, so it was up to us not drop our level to theirs, and ultimately we succeeded in that.” said. Greenlee.

This was also the game that midfielder Lucca Dohr ’20 scored his first goal.

“It was his first of the season and it was really cool to see that.” said Greenlee.

With the team’s next game on Jan. 15, Greenlee said that the team is practicing hard to achieve the results that they want.

“I think as a team we need to work on closing the spaces on defense because with a better team they will be able to play through those spaces,” said Greenlee. “Offensively we need to be more unpredictable in our attack.”
