Boys’ basketball loses in CIF, Girls’ basketball advances to finals

By defeating Oak Park 63-45 Saturday, girlsâ basketball advanced to the Division IV-AA CIF Southern Section title game. They will play Bishop Montgomery Saturday at 9:30 a.m. at Cal State Long Beach.
Princeton commit Nicole Hung ’10 led the Wolverines with 19 points.
Boysâ basketballâs CIF run ended with a 78-70 loss against Compton Centennial Friday night, though the team still has a chance to qualify for the Division III-A state tournament.
