The Coliseum pool at USC hosted the rivalry matchup between the Wolverines and the Loyola boys’ water polo teams Wednesday.
The Wolverines went into the game on a high after their homecoming win against rival Cathedral Saturday, but they ended up losing today’s matchup with the Cubs.
Loyola prevailed 12-9 despite goals from Harvard-Westlake’s Bradley Schine ’12, Alec Zwaneveld ’12, and Morio Saito ’14.
The loss puts the Wolverines at 12-7 overall heading in to a tournament in San Jose this weekend before finishing their season next week at Notre Dame.
