Alumna named Player of the Week by NCAC

After leading Kenyon College to a win against Wooster last Tuesday Rachel Hall ’11 is this week’s North Coast Athlete Conference field hockey Player of the Week.
Hall now leads the Kenyon Ladies in scoring with six goals, two assists, and 14 points.
Hall learned of her honor when her mom called her on the phone while she was working on homework.
When asked how the Harvard Westlake field hockey program prepared her for college field hockey Hall said, “I think field hockey skills wise, Harvard Westlake prepared me for college field hockey but not conditioning wise. The amount of fitness is very demanding and was a surprise to me that I had trouble doingsome of the fitness tests and exercises.”
“Other than it being a lot more intense, it’s definitely very rewarding and I love my team and everything about Kenyon,” Hall said.
