The Chinese Cultural Club hosted its annual luncheon Sunday, Feb. 12 to celebrate the Chinese New Year at the Hilton Hotel at Universal City. Tickets were $45 each. All the members of the HW Chinese Club and students in the Chinese language program were invited to the luncheon. Various members of the faculty and administration were invited on a rotating basis.

“It is important because the lunar New Year is celebrated in many countries and cultures throughout Asia,” said Teresa Mayer (Cathy ’12), co-chair of the event this year with Nancy Wu (Bryant ’17). “We feel this is an opportunity to share this wonderful tradition with the Harvard-Westlake community and with each other.”
