    Cain named Mission League co-MVP, two teammates all-league

    The Mission League selected Damiene Cain ’11 as one of its two Most Valuable Players Monday, and Zena Edosomwan ’12 and Josh Hearlihy ’12 earned all-league first team honors.

    Cain shared the MVP award with Loyola forward Julian Harrell, a junior who scored 24 points in the Cubs’ 71-51 rout of the Wolverines Feb. 4. Cain averaged 14.8 points per game on 61% shooting in Mission League play, to go with 11.2 rebounds and 2.2 blocks per game.

    Edosomwan led the Wolverines with 17.1 points per game in league, and Hearlihy averaged 15.4 per game.
