Boys volleyball still undefeated in Mission League

With a 3-2 win over St. Francis tonight, the boys’ volleyball team improved to 5-0 in league play. The Wolverines, who beat Alemany in straight sets on Tuesday, have beaten every team besides league powerhouse Loyola, who the team plays Tuesday.

The Cubs, who were the undefeated league champions last year, will play host to the rival Wolverines on Tuesday. The Wolverines finished 8-4 last year in league, good enough for third place, but are on pace to finish in at least second place if they can beat the five league opponents they have already beaten after Spring Break during the second run through the Mission League. Second place in league standings will give the Wolverines home court advantage in the first round of playoffs.
