Prefect Council awarded grants of up to $500 to the Health and Awareness Club, the Martial Arts Club, Velvet Daisies, For Vida, the Harvard-Westlake Outreach Performers, the Chinese Pen Pal Club, Habitat for Humanity, the Human Rights Watch Student Task Force and the Quiz Bowl Club.
To apply for a grant, club leaders had to fill out a form indicating how the money would be used and how they would use the money to benefit the school community.
