After a first round victory, the Wolverines were unable to fend off Calabasas on Thursday at home, with their 3-1 loss marking the end of their season.
While the squad won the first set of the CIF Division II second-round playoff game 26-24, it dropped the next three, losing 17-25, 17-25 and 15-25, respectively.
The team finished its season with a league record of 5-7 and an overall record of 10-10-1, both of which are marked improvements over last season’s records. Furthermore, its second-round finish this season marks a higher finish than last season, when the team did not make the playoffs.
