HW Frisbee Club hosted its first-ever frisbee golf tournament at Weddington Golf and Tennis on April 28 and encouraged students to bring friends and family members to participate.
Though the organizers did not strictly regulate the scores, they deemed math teacher Laffite Lamberto-Egan as the clear winner, club leader Davis Cook ’19 said.
Cook said he hopes more people will join the club and continue planning similar events.
“Even though not many people had showed up, it was nice to get to know everybody a little better and be out on the course,” Cook said. “My favorite part was getting to know other people who I didn’t know who were also interested in frisbee golf, and surprisingly, really good too.”
