All outdoor athletic events were cancelled today due to unsafe air conditions. Fires across Southern California have caused the air quality to be unhealthy, Head of Athletics Audrius Barzdukas said. Â
“You can go out there and walk around but there will be no running on the track or swimming in the pool,” Barzdukas said.
Football will still be holding practice but they will be only having meetings and a walk through.
Both students and faculty have been evacuated from their homes because of the fires.
