This win is a rebound for the team fresh off a CIF-SS Division I playoff run.

The Wolverines defeated No. 3 seeded Mira Costa and No .2 seeded Corona Del Mar High School en route to the CIF-SS Division I final. The team lost 10-8 in a tight game against the No. 1 seeded Peninsula High School.

Under first year coach Kristie Reynolds-Gipe, the Wolverines have improved upon their 2014-2015 record (9-7 overall, 7-1 Mission League). The Wolverines were also able to muster a deep playoff run, which has seen them go two rounds deeper into the CIF-SS playoffs this season.

The team’s record currently stands at 15-2 for the season.
