The Girls’ Tennis team built upon their first round success with a quarterfinal win over Northwood High School in the CIF regional tournament journey.

The Wolverines handily beat Northwood 5-2 in the second round matchup.

This win continues the team’s hot streak, fresh off a win against La Jolla Country Day School. The Wolverines swept La Jolla in the opening round 7-0.

Coach Kristie Reynolds-Gipe has helped to lead the Wolverines to both the final of CIF-SS Division 1 playoffs and to the semifinals of this regional tournament. The team’s record currently stands at 16-2 (8-0 league play) on the season.

The Wolverines play Torrey Pines High School at 1:45 p.m. in the semifinals of the CIF USTA Regional Championships.
