The girls’ water polo team beat Alemany 21-3 on Feb. 9, winning the Mission League tournament and claiming the Mission League title for the 21st year in a row.
After finishing the regular season with a 6-0 record, the team beat FSHA 11-3 in the semifinals of the tournament, moving on to face Alemany in the finals, a team they beat 17-8 just a week before.
The goals came from the usual suspects, with Paige Thompson ’17 scoring seven, Pria Pant ’18 scoring three and Camille Oswald ’17 scoring three. Oswald also recorded a number of assists.
After claiming the title yet again, the team will hope to continue its good form into the CIF Playoffs Feb. 15-22.
