The girls’ water polo team fell to Righetti 10-6 in the quarterfinals of the CIF playoffs Feb. 18, knocking the Wolverines out of the playoffs.
Coming off of a Mission League title win at the end of an undefeated league season, the Wolverines won their first match of the playoffs Feb. 15, beating Los Altos 13-6, and moved on to the quarterfinals against Righetti.
Despite the strong start, the Wolverines could not repeat the victory and exited the playoffs in the quarterfinals, eliminating them from postseason play and ending their season.
