The boys’ tennis team trounced Westlake 15-3 on March 7 to remain undefeated with a 5-0 record.

A strong Westlake squad featured two seniors ranked within the top 100 in the nation. Vanderbilt commit Adam Sraberg ’17, ranked 62 in the nation, finished the the day 2-1 in his sets, suffering his first loss of the season to Westlake captain Brandon Lam ’17, ranked 33 in the nation.
Pomona-Pitzer commit Jed Kronenberg ’17, rank 211, delivered a momentous win against Westlake’s Andrew Whitehouse ’17, ranked 74 in the nation.
Overall, the squad swept its doubles’ sets 9-0, and went 6-3 in its singles matches.
“It was good to see how our relatively young team matched up against that kind of competition,” Sraberg said. “I’m proud of the guys. We fought hard and we’re hoping to continue our momentum into our next match.”
The squad will face Crespi tomorrow, and San Marino Thursday.
