Field hockey shut out Westlake 3-0 yesterday, keeping the team undefeated.
Despite the win, team captain Alyse Tran ’18 acknowledges that the team still has room to improve.
“The first half we were really lacking in energy and spirit, and I think it was because we went in a little too confident,” Tran said. “The second half we picked it up though and were able to keep the ball in their half the entire rest of the game.”
The team plays Thousand Oaks on Thursday, a team it beat 11-0 earlier in the season.
