The boys’ swimming team beat St. Francis today finishing 134-41 in their fifth meet of the season.

The boys’ team is now 4-1 overall with its only loss coming against Loyola on March 15.

“I’m proud with the start to the season that we’ve had,” swimmer Derek Blumenfield ’20 said. “It’s nice to go into the break with a win knowing that we don’t have another meet until after we get back”

Swimmer Adam Copses ’20 finished first in all four events he raced in, winning the 200-yard medley relay, 100-yard fly, 500-yard freestyle and 400-yard freestyle relay. Swimmer Paul LeClerc ’18 finished with 11 points coming in first in the 200-yard medley relay, 50-yard freestyle and 100-yard breaststroke. Swimmer Jameson McMullen ’18 also finished with 11 points.

The girls’ team did not swim today but both the boys and girls will swim against Saugus on April 13 in a non-league matchup.
