Two students plan tool drive to aid those struggling to rebuild New Orleans

After aiding Katrina victims by reconstructing houses in New Orleans over the summer, Sarah Hoberman ’07 and Olivia Kestin ’09 plan to organize a tool drive at the Middle School to aid the people trying to rebuild. The tools will be donated to Habitat for Humanity, a non-profit organization, and to the Musicians’ Village in the lower ninth ward in New Orleans. The drive is aimed towards collecting tools for people building homes in New Orleans. Specifically desired tools include nails and tool belts. The drive has not been scheduled yet, but it will occur before spring break.
