Girls’ basketball comes out victorious over Oaks Christian

By Alex Edel

After Wednesday night’s 63-50 win over Oaks Christian, the girls’ basketball team is headed to CIF semifinals this Saturday.

“It was very exciting and with all of our fans there to cheer us on we were even more hyped up,” Amanda Horowitz ’10 said. The Wolverines take on Windward and in the semifinals Notre Dame High school, a neutral location, on Saturday at 7:30 p.m.  The team lost to Windward twice this season, the second time by only six points.

To prepare for the game the team will “practice the same; hard and intensely. We are just trying to get through another game,” Horowitz said.
