After defeating Edison HS 2-0 in a scrimmage this past Tuesday, the field hockey team came out strong in their season opener Friday afternoon, defeating Marina HS 6-1.

Senior Lucy Putnam ’14 lead the offensive charge scoring three goals. Emma Wasserman ’16 scored two goals and Alessandra Marenzi ’14 added another.

The Wolverines will be facing Huntington Beach HS on Tuesday, Sept. 10 in a much anticipated rematch of last year’s LAFH Championship game.
