Field hockey defeats Louisville in first league game

After losing to Huntington Beach in their last game, the field hockey team won their first LAFHA match of the season Tuesday, defeating Louisville High School 10-0.

The team used both Mia Reilly ’18 and Erin Lee ’18 at goalie, after the squad’s starter, Daniela Grande ’16, was deemed unable to play due to a strained back. Grande is out for at least two weeks, so the team is trying to figure out who to use at goalie for now.

After the team’s victory, they are looking to use this momentum to propel them to a Homecoming victory against Glendora this Saturday.
